The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 717,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.

The Integrations and Data directorate improves digital solutions to enhance the experience and objectives of Participants of the NDIS. It enables the effective management of plans through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that interact with the Agency and relevant providers.
The Digital Partnership Office (DPO) is responsible for the engagement and onboarding of Digital Partners to the National disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The ELI Assistant Director, Digital Partnerships is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the functions of the NDIA.
The position is an important team leadership position within the NDIA and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Digital Partnership Office Team Membership and team working within the positions assigned Work Area.

In the role of NDIA EL1 Assistant Director Platform Integrations and Data, tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Be a key contact for providers, aggregators and software providers engaging with NDIA on the Digital Partnership Office.
- Supporting the development and promotion of resources that enable sector development and improve the NDIA’s understanding of the provider environment and experience and APIs.
- Implementing and supporting the Digital Partnership Office engagement strategies intended to develop market.
- Promoting workplace practices consistent with Agency policy and in accordance with NDIA values and leadership behaviours.
- Providing input into ministerial and parliamentary correspondence and briefings.

You will:
- Build strong effective relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
- Have proven relationship management and engagement experience, communication, organisational and management skills.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver API and DPO initiatives.
- Be able to work in partnership across all divisions to ensure the provider and participant is at the forefront of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting diverse communities including those living with disability or possess the ability to develop that understanding. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

While this role is ideally performed from VIC - Geelong and ACT - Deakin, remote working arrangements may be considered. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
