Located at 212 Australia Street in Newtown, Osteria Mucca brings classic Italian dining and warm hospitality to Newtown, with deep roots in family tradition. 'Mucca' (Italian for 'cow') is in a former butcher shop, to honour the shop’s history, all the original tiles, worn edges and unique details have been preserved.

Our menu features cherished family recipes and regional Italian classics, paired with hard-to-find wines from small, family-run vineyards and a range of aperitivo and digestivo cocktails. Osteria Mucca is a place to feel at home.
