MW Recruitment are partnering with a specialist, independent firm based on the Gold Coast who are in search for a highly commercial client manager to bolster their team.

Key Responsibilities:

The role is an advisory weighted role where you will have autonomy to manage and grow your client portfolio, with the support of a high performing team underneath you.

Oversee & manage a diverse client portfolio of private clients varying in industry sector

Preparation of financial statements & tax returns (all entity types excluding SMSF)

Div 7A, CGT (shares & property) and FBT Calculations

Manage & mentor a team of graduate, intermediate & senior accountants

Conduct in person advisory meetings to guide clients in achieving their economic objectives

Liaison with the ATO

Maintenance & preparation of clients financial records

Maintain long standing client relationships and showcase effective rapport-building skills

About You:

6+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.

2+ years experience in a manager/supervisor capacity

CA/CPA qualifications complete or nearing completion

Strong leadership skills and ability to lift your peers

Experience with advising large, complex clients

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities
