Must be available to work variety of shifts including weekends and sleepovers.

About the Role:

At MADEC, our Team Leader (Residential Youth Services) guide, mentor and support a team of Residential Youth Workers to provide safe, nurturing, and supportive home environments for young people who have experienced trauma and neglect.

Working under the guidance of our experienced Youth Coordinators, you will:

• Lead, Support and Mentor: You will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Residential Youth Workers and Youth Worker.

• Foster a Safe Environment: Create a consistent and nurturing atmosphere that empowers young people to thrive.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualifications: Diploma or higher in Child or Youth Services (or equivalent) or willingness to undertake.

• Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working with young people and supporting individuals incl. youth, persons who have experienced trauma and neglect.

• Licenses: A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.

• Screening: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2.

• Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.

• Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting young people and contributing to a positive team culture.
