We’re looking for an experienced Quality Control Officer.
The Quality Control Officer facilitates appropriate risk and quality management system review techniques and is responsible for maintaining and implementing quality control policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting solutions ensuring high quality standards are achieved.
This is a full-time position, reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is located at our Altona facility.
What you will do:
Support and perform activities to ensure compliance of the quality system.
Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
Conduct daily quality monitoring checks
Conduct daily organoleptic testing
Conduct pre operational inspections
Review and update QMS documentation.
Assisting the Quality Manager to ensure factory compliance to GMP & HACCP requirements
Assist with in-house employee training regarding GMP and food safety
Assisting in the investigation of customer complaints
Support with any incidents, recalls or withdrawals.
Maintain and review quality records and documentation (COA/COC, MSDS, Product specifications,).
Assisting in R&D projects.
Conduct and participate in internal audits.
Support in external audits.
Produce and present reports on QA-related topics
Address non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions
Support the Quality team and Production team.
What we are looking for:
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field.
Graduates are welcome to apply.
Fffective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to speak and write in fluent English.
Ability to work under limited supervision
