We are extremely excited to announce our search for a Dental Nurse based in the beautiful town of Wangaratta! Our client is a well-established, locally owned dental clinic, specialising in all aspects of General, Cosmetic and Children's dentistry, Dental Hygiene, implants, orthodontics (Invisalign), mouthguards and sleep appliances.

This is a full time position (with an initial 3-month probation) 38 hours per week, days and hours are generally rostered weekly but may be subject to change.

The Role:

This position is responsible for contributing to the provision of high quality, efficient and effective dental care through clinical support activities. Our Dental Nurse will work in conjunction with our amazing Dentists, providing chair side assistance, ensuring patients are provided with the best possible experience!

This is a full time position (with an initial 3-month probation) 38 hours per week, days and hours are generally rostered weekly but may be subject to change.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, maintain and manage the dental surgery for patients throughout the day in accordance with infection control protocol.

Manage an adequate supply and appropriate rotation of instruments and store items.

Undertake sterilisation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment within the dental clinic as required

Participate in programs, meetings and activities that contribute to the ongoing improvement of the clinic

Provide outstanding customer service when assisting clients

Comply with practice confidentiality agreement.

Key Requirements:

Experience preferred, however not essential

If you are not qualified, we’d love for you to undertake Certificate III in Dental Assisting, paid for by the practice.

Immunisation records will be requested, vaccinations may be required at the cost of the practice.

Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with a variety of people.

Demonstrate co-operation through flexibility in task performance, work location and hours of work.

Undertake duties in a professional manner when dealing with patients and the public.
