About the role

Muscle Synergy is seeking an experienced Myotherapist / Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team in Burpengary, Queensland. This is a contract or permanent/part time position (depending upon experience) with the opportunity to build a roster of regular clients from our large client base and continue to look after our regular clientele. You will provide a range of therapeutic treatments to help clients manage pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellbeing. Previous experience in administration, marketing or management will be highly favoured for the permanent part time position.

What you'll be doing

Conduct thorough client assessments to identify areas of concern and develop personalised treatment plans

Perform myotherapy, remedial massage, dry needling, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to alleviate muscle tension, joint stiffness, and other musculoskeletal issues

Educate clients on the benefits of regular self-care and provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, and lifestyle modifications

Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Collaborate with team-members to provide integrated care for clients

Contribute to the growth and development of the Muscle Synergy brand by providing exceptional customer service

Basic administration tasks such as making bookings, taking payments and communicating with clients

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Health Science - Clinical Myotherapy, Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy or Diploma of Remedial Massage

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Myotherapist or Remedial Massage Therapist (preferred)

Dry Needling training (for Remedial Massage therapists) (preferred)

Thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology

Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop effective treatment plans

Current registration with an appropriate association

Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
