About the role

Felice's Place Gourmet Butcher is a family-owned business established in 2003 with a production facility in Cheltenham and a retail outlet in the heart of Elwood village. We are seeking talented and experienced Butchers to join our dynamic retail team across a variety of shifts. As a full-time Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and producing high-quality meat products to meet the needs of our discerning clientele.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering recommendations and advice to customers

Maintaining clean, organized and well-stocked display cabinets

Cutting, trimming, and preparing fresh meat products according to customer specification

Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment

Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the retail butchery

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Butcher, preferably in a retail environment

Strong knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques with a focus on traditional butchery

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable and friendly assistance

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals

Ability to work weekends as required

Must have full working rights in Australia
