About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic team at Ogis Engineering Pty Ltd on a part-time basis for 2 days a week.

As our Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and reporting of our organisation based in Milperra, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Reports on efficiencies and KPI's. Create Reports per management requirement

Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing

Oversee bank accounts and other financial records on a regular basis

Support budgets and forecasts process

Support the month-end and year-end accounting close processes

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives

BAS submissions

Submit financial reports to management to provide decision making

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Experience in manufacturing - preferred

Strong proficiency in financial accounting and reporting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work accurately and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems

Demonstrated experience in a part-time or flexible work arrangement
