Underground Drill Fitter - (Various roster options)
$87.50 per hour (depending on experience) Calling all drill fitter wizards, mechanical maestros, and fix-it geniuses—are you ready to trade the workshop grind for an FIFO day shift only that lets you work hard, play harder?

We're looking for Drill Fitters who can turn a wrench like a pro and keep the drill fleet purring.
If you can diagnose a problem faster than someone can Google it and reckon you've got what it takes to keep things running smoothly underground, on the surface, and everywhere in between, keep reading.
What's the Gig?

Here's what your days will look like:

• Maintenance Magic: Servicing, maintenance and fault finding of underground Diamond Drilling equipment in underground and surface environments including feed rail & cylinder repairs, electrical fault diagnosis, component replacement, drill head repairs, cab, boom and mast repairs.
• Paperwork Pro: Keep the logs accurate, the orders organised, and your reports on time. Spreadsheets? Easy. Getting grease on them? Optional.
• Team Player: Work with operations and customers like the smooth operator you are.

What We're Looking For (aka, The Wish List):

• Have permanent Australian Working rights
• Experience servicing and maintaining drill rigs (highly desired).
• A relevant mechanical trade qualification. (Yep, your certificate matters here.)
• C Class driver's licence—because you can't drive the fleet with a bus pass.
• A National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screening. (This is the real test—no beer-for-breakfast types here.)
• Solid communication skills and the patience to work in a team (even when Gary forgets to refill the tool cart again).
