Located in North Lakes, Queensland, our venue is a staple in the local food scene, serving a loyal customer base with high-quality cuisine made from fresh ingredients and traditional spices.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Responsibilities include:

Planning and preparing daily menu offerings including entrees, mains, tandoori dishes, and sides

Cooking authentic North and South Indian cuisine using traditional spices and techniques

Managing food preparation, portion control, and hygiene standards

Training and supervising junior kitchen staff

Monitoring inventory and minimising food waste

Adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards

Skills & Experience Required:

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or Chef in a commercial kitchen

Strong understanding of Indian spices and tandoor techniques

Excellent communication and time management skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Salary offered 76k + superannuation
