We are seeking a reliable and experienced Interstate Truck Driver to join our team. Based in Castlemaine VIC, this role involves transporting goods across various states of Australia, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a solid understanding of fatigue management and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy vehicles (HC/MC class) for long-haul interstate deliveries.

Safely load, secure, transport, and unload freight in accordance with company and legal standards.

Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Comply with NHVR (National Heavy Vehicle Regulator) laws and company policies.

Requirements:

Current and valid Heavy Vehicle/MC licence.

Proven experience in interstate or long-distance truck driving (min. 2 years).

Sound knowledge of Australian road networks and regulations.

Ability to work independently and manage long hours on the road.

Strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) preferred but not essential.
