About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a fast-growing and forward-thinking professional services firm to find an experienced Client Manager to join their Brisbane team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant ready to step into a client-facing leadership role. You’ll manage your own portfolio of small-to-medium business clients, overseeing compliance work while also delivering valuable advisory insights.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted business advisor
• Reviewing and finalizing tax returns and financial statements (individuals, companies, trusts, SMSFs)
• Overseeing BAS preparation and lodgment
• Providing strategic advice around business structures, performance, and planning
• Liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients
• Mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and business improvement projects

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• CA or CPA qualified
• WFH 2 days per week
• Solid experience in business services/public practice accounting
• Proven ability to manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
