At the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE), we’re more than a fitness and aquatics centre – we’re a thriving community hub dedicated to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and creating a space where excellence lives every day.

We’re on the lookout for an energetic and hands-on Duty Manager to help us keep our Fitness & Aquatics Centre running smoothly and safely. What You’ll Do

Be the go-to leader on shift, ensuring our Fitness and Aquatics areas are operating safely and efficiently.

Support our amazing team to deliver excellent customer experiences – from memberships to events and everything in between.

Step in during emergencies and keep safety front of mind as Fire Warden when needed.

Keep the vibe high: oversee facility presentation, daily operations and support staff to deliver their best.

Engage directly with members and guests – this is not a desk-bound role!

What You Bring

Current Pool Lifeguard Licence

Current First Aid & CPR certifications

Experience supervising teams and working in a dynamic environment.

A strong understanding of WHS and confidence in responding to emergencies.

The ability to work constructively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a commitment to cultural safety.
