About the role:

We’re seeking a capable and committed Project Manager on a contract basis to oversee the successful delivery of two concurrent commercial installation projects, one in Woodend and one in Warrnambool. Over the course of 3-4 months, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, materials, safety, and quality, ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on role that requires clear communication, strong organisational skills, and a proactive mindset. You’ll work closely with our office team, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution from site planning through to handover.

Project Manage two separate commercial projects

Ensure both projects are completed according to project construction schedule

Develop, track and manage budgets for both projects

Ensure that all installations are completed to SSA’s high quality and standards.

Zero safety incidents on-site

Communicate with office staff, and superintendents on-site as required, via email and phone before, during and after installations

Maintain effective lines of communication on-site

Undertake Site Inspections with customers as required

Deliver the project according to signed contracts and SSA’s documented standards

Develop accurate Site Plans (prior to installation) and ‘As Constructed Plans’ (post installation)

Attend site briefings as required

Work with Installation Admin team to ensure the Construction Schedule is up to date at all times

Work with the Yard Manager to ensure that the correct materials and equipment are ordered and delivered to site, on time, for both projects

Order materials from suppliers when required

Ensure all documentation is uploaded

Handle all adhoc requests from the Operations Manager as required
