Maintain my Garden is a team of, horticulturists and garden professionals. The Head office is located in the Hunters Hill and is currently looking for experienced Horticulturist to join our team.

We are a successful Landscape/Horticulture company that has been established for over 28 years. We are seeking a four experienced Horticulturist to join our busy hardworking team. As well as being passionate about developing gardens and making sure they are healthy, and we are Promatec with the redevelopment of new garden and the exist client

The candidate would be working in a team of two, you will be required to work autonomously and be able to complete task required in a timely and efficient manner with meticulous attention to details. Tasks will include detailed garden maintenance as well as the installation of small gardens following a plant design.

Responsibilities

Undertake all turf and garden maintenance to a high level

Excellent knowledge of plants and each species requirements

Operate landscape maintenance equipment in accordance with OH&S procedures

Apply pest management and plant nutrition programs

Maintain all machinery and equipment

Liaise with Clients

Job Requirement

Previous garden/landscaping experience

Tafe qualifications or currently studying required (Horticulture - Parks and Garden or equivalent)

Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture required, or currently completing with substantial course progress

Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment

Good plant identification skills

Experience handling pest and weed control chemicals and garden fertiliser's

A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills

Ability to work confidently/competently unsupervised.

Manual Drivers licence essential.

Full manual driver's licence required with clean driving record. Own reliable transport preferred

$30 - $38/hr plus penalties

Opportunity of an on-going permanent role

Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including lifting up to 25kg

Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) required
