About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join the Easy Rest Pillows' team in Dandenong South, VIC. As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our products to our valued customers. This is a casual role with usual hours 6.30am to 2.36pm Tuesday, Weds Thursday , with overtime and additional days as required. We are flexible and happy to work in with the successful candidate.

What you'll be doing

Delivering products to customers in a safe, timely and professional manner respecting other road users while adhering to all relevant safety and road traffic regulations

Assisting with manual loading and unloading of our vehicles as required

Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation

We have 2 5T Curtain sided single rear axle trucks that we use to deliver our goods around the Melbourne Metropolitan area.

You will work in closely with our team, to work out daily runs while assisting in meeting customers delivery requirements.

What we're looking for

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Light Truck Licence is minimum required.

Experience in a similar delivery or courier role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Strong time management and organisational skills

Customer service orientation with both internal and external communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a focus on meeting customers needs

Physical fitness and the ability to hand load and unload bags of Pillows as required. Passing a medical report will be required before commencing employment.

You can often be the face of the business dealing with customers directly and are expected to represent the company in a suitable manner.
