🌿 Horticulturist - Garden Bed Maintenance
Duration: Approx. 2-3 months (initially)
Pay Rate: $44-$45 per hour (Depending on experience & qualifications)

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Horticulturist to assist with garden bed and general park maintenance.

This opportunity is perfect for someone with a Certificate III in Horticulture, strong plant ID skills, and hands-on horticulture knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Garden bed maintenance

Pruning, hedging, mulching & planting

Irrigation repairs

Litter removal & BBQ cleaning

Hand weeding & backpack weed spraying

Whipper snipping, hand mowing & blowing paths

Truck driving (LR licence essential, MR preferred)

Accurate plant identification

To be successful, you must have:

Certificate III in Horticulture

Demonstrated plant knowledge and maintenance skills

White Card (construction)

LR Licence (MR highly desirable)

Chem Cert (highly desirable - for spraying tasks)

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

National Criminal History Check
