Mars Recruitment is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and autonomous Remote Area Nurse to join a groundbreaking after-hours pilot program delivering vital health care in a remote Northern Territory community.

This is more than an emergency response role—it's a chance to shape and evaluate a new model of extended clinical service in a remote Aboriginal setting.

🩺 About the Role:

Provide culturally safe, patient-centred after-hours care (9 PM to 8 AM)

Phone consultations, emergency call-outs, and clinical assessments

Engage in health education, admin duties, and data audits

Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team under CARPA and specialist guidance

👩‍⚕️ What We're Looking For:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Triage, ALS, Remote Emergency Care, Immunisation & Pharmacotherapeutics certified

5+ years post-registration nursing experience, with 3+ in remote primary health

Strong assessment, conflict resolution, and communication skills

Commitment to cultural safety and understanding of Aboriginal health

NT Ochre Card, valid driver’s licence, and clear criminal history

✨ Nice to Have:

Postgrad qualifications in remote or emergency nursing

Familiarity with Communicare or PCIS
