We’re seeking passionate and experienced Remote Area Nurses (RANs) to join health services across the Top End, Central Desert, and Barkly regions of the stunning Northern Territory.

📍 Locations include:

Tropical communities near the Timor Sea (Top End)

Remote clinics in the Red Centre (Central)

Cattle country and wide-open spaces of the Barkly Tablelands

Whether you’re drawn to coastal sunsets, desert landscapes or outback charm, we’ve got a contract that’ll take you there.

💼 The Role: You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive primary health care to First Nation communities. No two days are the same – from chronic disease management and immunisations to emergency response and health education.

🔍 We’re looking for:

AHPRA-registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner

Remote nursing experience (or a solid foundation in ED, Primary Health or Acute care)

Cultural competence and a strong commitment to First Nation health

Current ALS, REC, MEC, PALS, immunisation certificate

Contract lengths: From 4 weeks to 12+ weeks

Top locum rates + penalties + remote area allowance

$85.00 $105.00 per hour + super + on call / call outs
