About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide nursing/midwifery team support and undertake the nursing care under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to support consumer/person centred care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Assist in the provision of nursing and midwifery team support and undertake delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework.
- Respond appropriately and report sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/person to the Registered Nurse.
- Function in accordance with legislation when undertaking activities as delegated to provide an environment and care that is safe and relevant for individuals and groups.
- Contribute to the effective functioning of the CDTU at Caboolture Hospital and Bribie Island Satellite Health Centre in the provision of safe quality care.
