We are currently recruiting for a Physio to work in the Ballina / Byron Bay / Lismore area's for a growing provider of allied health services. This position would focus on providing physio services in various Residential Aged Care Facilities

Details of the position:

• Full Time or Part Time hours would be considered
• $80-85k salary + super
• Support, training and assistance provided
• Role based around the Ballina, Byron Bay, Lismore areas
• Work in Residential Aged Care
• We are looking for someone located in Australia

About the organisation:

This organisation has a large team of allied health professionals and provide services to a variety of different aged care facilities. They also have a number of clinics across Northern NSW and also work in the community.

Duties:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
• Learning and implementing the new aged care funding model (AN-ACC).
• Overseeing and running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides.
• Delivery of Chronic Pain Management Program
• Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
• Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments
• Delivery of manual handling training competencies

Requirements:

• It is a requirement to be a fully AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist
• We are looking for someone with a passion for Physiotherapy and for supporting older people
