Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Speech Pathologist who is ready for a new adventure. As the Speech Pathologist, you will be working as part of a dynamic and supportive speech pathology and multidisciplinary allied health team at Cootamundra Community Health. About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to be a part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing high-quality care to patients/ clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.
As the Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive Speech Pathology service across a range of clinical areas and settings.
- Providing assessment, diagnosis and management of clients/patients referred for your care within scope of practice and level of experience.
- Evaluating treatment according to patient/client goal achievement in collaboration with senior clinicians as appropriate, with alterations to intervention/plans made accordingly.
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
- Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- An in-depth understanding and ability to provide speech pathology services in a curious and empathetic way
- Tertiary Qualifications and a Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise services where necessary
