Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care across a 15-bed unit
• Administer medications, monitor observations, and respond to changing patient needs
• De-escalate and manage acute behaviours with confidence and compassion
• Collaborate closely with intake, referral, and multidisciplinary teams
• Evaluate, plan, and document care in line with best practice standards

Ideal Candidate:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mental health or hospital nursing (desirable but not essential)
• Strong interpersonal and observational skills, with a calm and patient-focused approach
