About the role

Join the dedicated team as a Family Support Worker with TUNZA CARE SERVICES in Perth, WA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families within the community.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised support and assistance to families, individuals and children with disabilities or complex needs

Helping clients access community services and resources to promote independence and improve quality of life

Coordinating and facilitating group activities and programs to encourage social inclusion

Maintaining detailed client records and reporting on progress to ensure high-quality care

Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to develop and implement tailored support plans

Advocating for clients' rights and addressing any concerns or issues that arise

Assist the work of Social Workers and welfare workers by providing services and support to families

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in community services, social work, or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar family support or disability support role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solution-focused approach

Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple stakeholders

Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
