We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Storesperson to support the splitting of approximately 100 bulk bags onsite. The role involves safely lifting and positioning bulk bags for manual processing, as well as supporting general site operations when not on the forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to lift, move, and position bulk bags (approx. 1 tonne each) for splitting
• Assist with steady placement over hoppers, bins, or designated areas for manual emptying
• Conduct daily pre-start checks on the forklift and report any mechanical issues
• Support manual labourers in bag splitting tasks where required
• Follow all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
• Assist with general labouring and housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) - essential
• Proven experience operating forklifts in outdoor or yard environments
• Ability to manoeuvre loads in tight or uneven spaces safely
• Physically fit and willing to assist with manual work
• PPE: Must have steel-capped boots, high-visibility clothing
• Strong attention to safety and awareness of load stability
