Your Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity within our Operations Team across the two Councils for an experienced Team Leader for a 12 months fixed-term contract. In this role you will lead a team that maintains and constructs physical assets such as road, stormwater and footpath infrastructure in accordance with industry best practice.

What we are looking for:

A strong and confident leader with a broad range of experience in civil construction and plant operation. You will have the ability to influence and motivate a team whilst adapting to change as required. You will provide technical advice and guidance as needed.

You will have technical qualifications in works supervision or engineering and be experienced in operational planning and management of physical, financial and human resources. You will also have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.

The Team Leader will work closely with the Operations Manager to continue to improve the delivery of maintenance operations, including plant/equipment upgrades and rationalization, and implementation of the latest technology in works management systems.
