About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Alive Early Learning Centre in Mount Barker, South Australia starting January 2026. As a full-time Early Childhood Teacher working primarily in in the Kindy Room, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners.

You will

Support child development and build strong relationships with both children and families to meet every child’s individual needs.

Work as part of a collaborative team with other experienced and likeminded educators.

Assist in the creation of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Contribute to the planning, assessment, and evaluation cycle within your dedicated learning environment.

Participate in the creation, development and evaluation of individual learning plans in collaboration with other ECTs.

Be strongly influenced by the Reggio Emilia Approach and other modern pedagogies.

What we're looking for

ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification and current South Australian Teachers Registration

Proven experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a similar educational setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues

A deep understanding of child development and a commitment to providing high-quality, play-based learning experiences

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a positive impact on young lives

A current Working with Children Check, First Aid certification and RRHAN-EC Training (or willing to obtain)
