Corestaff are seeking Yard Hand with Scrap Metal experience to join there team on a permanent basis

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our client a reputable company with a focus on ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling located near Wingfield is seeking Yard Hand with experience in scrap metal works

• Sorting, processing and grading scrap metal.
• Operating the forklift to move materials and Load/Unload trucks.
• Carrying out general warehouse/yard/weighbridge duties.
• Oxy cutting of scrap metal into smaller more manageable pieces.

About you

• Previous experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role.
• Oxy Cutting experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding. environment.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A current forklift and HR license (Highly Regarded).
• Additional operational tickets (Highly Regarded)
• A good knowledge of ferrous and non ferrous metals (Highly Regarded).
