About the role

Bfresh Cafe is seeking an experienced Short Order Cook to join our spirited and fast-paced kitchen team. As a casual Short Order Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of made-to-order dishes quickly and efficiently whilst assisting the team in a high-volume environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented cook who thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Preparing sandwiches and salads for our display cabinet and other speciality dishes to customer specifications.

Ensuring all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

Maintaining a clean and organised work station, following all food safety and hygiene protocols

Collaborating with the kitchen team to support the seamless operation of the cafe

Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer requests

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Short Order Cook or similar role in a high-volume food service environment

Strong multitasking and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

Reliable and available to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Flexibility with shift times. Earliest start would be 4.30am and latest finish would be 5pm no split shifts.
