Movement Matters Therapy | Make your Move Matter
What if your next physiotherapy role came with red dirt adventures, genuine impact, and a team that feels like family?
This is your invitation to trade burnout for balance, traffic for open skies, red tape for red dirt, and long waitlists for long-lasting impact.
At Movement Matters Therapy, we do more than deliver physiotherapy, we walk alongside families in some of Australia’s most unique and under-serviced communities. Based in Alice Springs / Mparntwe, we’re looking for a kind, curious and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist who’s ready to make a genuine difference.
Whether you’re seeking more purpose, adventure, connection, or all three; you might just find it here.
Why Move to Central Australia?
Relocating is a big decision but what if it led to a life that felt more rewarding and balanced?
When you join us in Alice Springs, you’ll trade stress for space, isolation for community, and burnout for belonging. You’ll become part of a close knit team that really cares — about you, your growth, and the kids and families you support.
Here’s What You Can Expect:
· A region that feels like home: rich culture, natural beauty, and a down-to-earth lifestyle
· Flexible work: autonomy and variety across clinic, homes, schools, and community settings
· Real impact: help bridge the gap in allied health access for local and remote families
· A values-driven team: trauma-informed, person-centred, and led with heart
· Generous support: relocation grants, mentoring, and CPD funding built-in
· Relocation support: connections with community groups and social networks, relocation checklists and further support – you won’t be doing this alone!
You’ll finish your day with time to hike the ranges, swim in local waterholes, or head to a backyard barbecue with your new neighbours.
Alice Springs is remote, yes — but it’s also vibrant, welcoming, and alive with art, culture, and community. You’ll feel connected here in ways you might not expect.
