The Role

As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, culturally appropriate and effective physiotherapy services within Alice Springs Hospital.

You’ll be involved in contributing to continuous quality improvement, departmental audits and coordinate and support student supervision within the department and participate in the weekend roster.

Alice Springs Hospital

Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) is Central Australia’s primary acute care service with a catchment area of approximately 50,000 residents across Alice Springs and up to 50 remote community locations. It is a 209 bed faciality and specialises in general and emergency medicine, surgical, maternity and paediatric services with a 10-bed intensive care unit and renal dialysis centre.

About you

You're a dedicated physiotherapist ready to make a real difference in regional healthcare. To be successful you’ll have:

Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy and be eligible for membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and practice registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

Experience providing contemporary high level clinical physiotherapy services

Proven ability to efficiently and effectively manage a high-volume workload.

Proven ability to provide clinical supervision of students and staff and a commitment to professional development.

Proven ability to implement and complete continuous quality improvement and service development activities.
