What would you be doing?
This is a key role for someone who loves helping others and takes pride in being the calm and capable support person who keeps things running smoothly.
You’ll be the first friendly face (and voice) that clients connect with and the steady hand behind a well-run office. You’ll also play an essential role in creating an environment where the whole team can do their best work.
Your days will include
Creating a warm and professional first impression for visitors and callers
Keeping the reception, meeting rooms and office areas organised and welcoming
Monitoring shared email inboxes and responding to admin queries with care
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Coordinating appointments and managing calendars
Keeping office supplies well stocked and equipment running smoothly
Helping onboard new clients and setting up jobs
Assisting with client document collation and ATO lodgements
Working with the Accountants to support them in addressing client requests and documentation
Supporting our internal culture through organising and coordinating events and activities
Working closely with a small, kind admin team — we help each other out
Pitching in wherever needed — from simple tasks to complex processes
About You
We're looking for someone who is:-
Organised and calm and great with follow-through (even when juggling multiple priorities)
Exceptional with attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
Proactive and resourceful — you anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise
Comfortable owning tasks and following them through to completion
Able to work both independently and collaboratively
A natural communicator — clear, warm, and professional
A dependable team mate who is always willing to lend a hand
Caring and considerate, especially when working with others
Skills & Experience
3+ years in an admin or reception role
Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Neat, professional presentation and confident phone manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A love and appreciation of checklists and structured processes
The Position
Full-time position
8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch
