Opportunity to join this engineering and architecture firm in their finance team. Work closely with the project managers to providing financial support and advice in regard to the overall performance of the studio and its projects.

The role is a contract role with an initial 18-month term and possibility to extend.

Key Responsibilities

Provide studio directors with financial analysis and support managing project finances

Manage project forecasting and track changes, adjusting ongoing forward cost projections

Collaborate with Project Managers to track revenue, costs, and project risks.

Manage incoming and outgoing costs

Lead monthly revenue recognition and billing processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Prepare and submit proposals on costing impacts

Review project status and identify/foresee potential financial issues

Skills and Experience

Prior experience in a similar role ideally with design, architecture or other professional or creative services

Experience working in large scale and global organisations highly regarded

Tertiary qualification in Business Management or similar desirable

Strong business acumen and understanding of comprehensive financial management

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
