About the organisation:

My client is a very well-known, large-boutique accounting firm in central Brisbane and has been in operation for over 20 years! They are constantly updating and evolving in order to keep ahead of market changes, which has made them extremely stable and a first choice for many clients and accountants.

They have a strong team led by 4 partners and are opening their doors for an experienced Bookkeeper to come onboard. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated by career development, stability and a rewarding team environment with partners who genuinely invest in your success!

Key responsibilities:

• Processing payroll for clients
• Processing accounts payables and receivables
• BAS and IAS preparation
• Answering client queries and updating clients
• Calculating SGC's (super guarantee charge)
• Calculating Q-leave

Skills and Experience:

• At least 2+ years' experience working as a bookkeeper in a public practice firm
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting is ideal (not required)
• Experience using Xero
• Ability to multitask and prioritise key tasks
• Excellent communication skills including being comfortable speaking to clients and building long-term relationships
• Someone who is motivated by growth and enjoys learning!
