AFTERNOON – SAW OPERATOR/ STOREMAN- IMMEDIATE START

Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier in Silverdale and we are looking for a full-time storeman/ saw operator to join our team.

Desired hours:

Afternoon- 2pm- 10:30pm

Competitive hourly rate.

Hourly base rate will be based on experience.

The successful applicant will have:

A strong attention to detail

Ability to read & understand measurements.

The ability to work unsupervised.

Forklift licence

Advantage but not essential:

Knowledge of steel’s different shapes, sizes and grades

Previous experience working on a saw.

Previous experience using an overhead crane

Hourly rate will depend on experience- 15% loading will be applied to base rate for afternoon shift.

Must have: Own transport and ability to drive to Silverdale, 2752, 5 days a week
