We’re currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client in the Bulk Dispatch area of their warehouse. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with a strong focus on forklift operations and dispatch logistics. For the right candidate, this position may offer the opportunity for permanent employment in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Reach Forklift Operation: Most tasks involve using a high-reach forklift, so experience is essential.

Loading Dispatch Vehicles: Load outbound pallets into transport vehicles efficiently and safely.

Manual Handling: Frequent heavy and awkward lifting, with some items weighing up to 40kg.

Workload Prioritisation: Ability to adapt and stay on top of workload, especially during peak dispatch periods.

Autonomous Work: Operate with minimal supervision – we’re looking for someone reliable, self-driven, and proactive.

System Use:

Consign orders using transport software.

Process invoices and stock movements via warehouse management system.

About You:

3+ years of high-reach forklift experience (license required).

Physically fit and capable of heavy, repetitive lifting.

Strong attention to detail and time management.

Tech-savvy – comfortable using computers and warehouse software.

Dependable with a strong attendance record.

Willing to stay until 6:00pm on occasion to complete vehicle loading (standard hours: 9:30am – 5:30pm).
