Multiple Aged Care Registered Nurse roles - QLD

We are currently recruiting for Aged Care Registered Nurses across multiple locations in QLD.

Overview

Permanent, Part-Time or Full-time options available

Mixture of all shifts (AM, PM, Nights)

$35-$50PH depending on the organisation & experience

Salary packaging benefits on offer for Not-for-Profit organisations

Initial temporary accommodation & relocation assistance, depending on the role

Sign on bonuses of up to $8k

Accepting new grads and experienced Registered Nurses

Responsibilities

Being responsible for ensuring high quality care is delivered to residents

Supervising and assisting other care employees

Building and fostering partnerships with each resident, respecting and ensuring their dignity, and focusing on their health and wellbeing.

Working within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care.

Providing complex clinical care including but not limited to: wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.

Evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet changing needs of residents

Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management

Requirements

AHPRA Registration

Aged Care experience desirable

Ability to work independently and professionally

Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles

Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation and will be highly regarded

An enthusiastic and empathetic approach

Evidence of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination

Current police check or willing to obtain

Must have full Australian working rights - no sponsorship opportunities on offer
