About the role

Preferred Care is seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated team providing person-centred care in our aged care facility in South Brisbane, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

• Provide high-quality nursing care to our aged care residents
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, and escalate any concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
• Promote a positive, caring and inclusive environment for residents and their families

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Proven experience providing nursing care in an aged care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
