The Role:
As the Materials Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring raw material availability to support on-time, in-full production. You’ll work cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver robust MRP processes and ensure the efficient flow of materials throughout the business.
Your ability to balance stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and improve planning accuracy will directly support business goals, including customer satisfaction, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Duties-
- Develop and execute raw material supply plans to meet production and customer demand.
- Identify and communicate any supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Optimise material stock levels while managing working capital targets.
- Analyse supply trends and drive planning process improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and performance.
- Support New Product Development and product phase-outs with accurate planning.
- Maintain accurate site planning policies and master data in the ERP system.
- Contribute to planning reports and support continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers on materials requirements.
About You:
Previous planning experience within the FMCG industry is essential with a proficiency in ERP systems. You have a strong analytical mindset and confident using business intelligence tools. Proven ability to communicate with internal teams and external suppliers. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment
