Our client is a leading provider of bulk liquid storage and handling services, committed to safety, excellence, and innovation. They are seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator to join their team in Pinkenba, where you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient terminal operations.

Description

Perform terminal operations, including shipping, product transfers, tank gauging (including stock level calculations), stock control, truck loading, operating control systems, and loading packaged goods.

Conduct general tasks such as preventative maintenance, site and equipment inspections, site documentation, equipment setup, operation of mobile and stationary equipment, and site housekeeping.

Participate in the Lockout/Tagout system as required.

Engage in prestart meetings to ensure operational readiness.

Champion site safety, adhering to and promoting safety standards.

Uphold the clients values of Safety, Partnering, Accountability, Leadership, and Excellence.

Profile

A trade qualification in a mechanical or technical field (desirable).

Familiarity with safety management systems, such as permit-to-work processes.

Previous training or experience in truck and ship loading and wharf duties.

Experience in chemical handling facility operations.

Strong understanding of handling Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Chemicals.

Computer literacy for operational and documentation purposes.

Valid forklift license.

Confined space training highly desirable
