ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Diploma Childcare Educator to join our Mobile Preschool team. Our people are passionate, hardworking and give 110%. Each person brings their unique background and contributes to moving us forward and making an impact to the Singleton community. To succeed in this role, you will possess:

• Diploma in Children’s Services
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid Certificate, including anaphylaxis and asthma training
• Practical experience in implementing interests and skills-based programs in a childcare centre / mobile preschool
• Previous experience in the care of children aged 0-5
• Knowledge of curriculum and legislative framework
• Excellent communication skills

In this position you may also be required to drive the mobile preschool van on occasion.

This position is offered on a permanent, part-time basis working 32 hours per week.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 8 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $36.55 - $41.11 per hour plus superannuation.
