We’re on the lookout for a confident, capable Cert IV Vet Nurse or Vet Tech (with 2+ years of experience) to join our vibrant, fast-paced, and genuinely supportive team at Ripley Veterinary Hospital in South East QLD.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work across a rotating schedule that keeps things varied, meaningful, and hands-on:

Surgical Nursing
Work one-on-one with our surgical vets on a diverse caseload — from routine to complex procedures. You’ll scrub in, monitor anaesthetics, manage equipment, and support patient recovery.

Consult Nursing
Build real client relationships by assisting with in-depth consults. From patient history to diagnostics and follow-up care, you’ll help ensure a seamless, professional experience.

Vet Liaison
Be in the room during consults, supporting vets directly — helping with treatment planning, note-taking, client communication, and follow-ups. This role puts your clinical knowledge and communication skills to great use.

Puppy Preschool
Run fun, structured puppy preschool sessions on rotation (always with another team member) and help support the early life stage of your patients.

The Roster

4 x 10-hour shifts per week

Your regular day off will be Monday or Wednesday

Rotating Saturdays

Minimal reception shifts — thanks to our amazing, dedicated client care team

Salary & Perks

We offer competitive, experience-based salaries for full-time Cert IV nurses — typically between $60,600 and $66,000 p.a., plus super and CPD support.
