Job Title: Truck Driver - (5 month contract)

Reports to: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Department: Logistics Department

Location: Lara, VIC

Job Summary:

• The role requires an experienced truck driver & forklift driver who thrives in a busy environment and is calm and organized. Reliability and punctuality, along with an excellent work ethic are crucial.
• Adherence to national road laws, industry standards and company policies and procedures are essential to this role.

Tasks:

Truck Driver

• Operation of a Heavy Combination truck in accordance with national road laws, industry standards and company policies and procedures
• Work towards meetings daily objectives set by the Logistics team
• To keep paperwork updated in relation to completion of daily load sheets, Mass Management, Basic Fatigue Management and pre trip inspections
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness both inside and out
• Forklift operation-loading and unloading trucks and picking orders
• Any other reasonable duties as prescribed by management
• Driving local within the Geelong region only

OHS & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy facility by adhering with all OHS and IDL Policies and Procedures
• Operate vehicle in a manner which adheres to all safety procedures
• Complete and submit safety documentation as required

Hours of Work:

• Monday - Friday 14:24 - 22:30
• Minimal overtime or weekends required
• Ability to cover day shift 06:24 - 14:30 when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

• Relevant vehicle licence Heavy Combination (HC)
• A current LF forklift licence
• Prior experience as a truck driver
• Driver Safety & Fatigue Management regulations
• A current Victorian driver’s license

Desirable

• B-Double Licence
