Australian Telecom Networks (ATN) is a proudly Melbourne-based company with over a decade of experience in delivering high-performance telecommunications infrastructure across Victoria. With more than 200 km of fibre optic cabling laid and connectivity delivered to over 500 buildings, we are proud to support Data Centres, Brownfield and Greenfield developments, ICN across the region.

As we continue to grow, we’re inviting Data Cabling Technicians of all experience levels to become part of our dynamic team. Whether you're a seasoned technician or an enthusiastic learner with the right mindset, we’re open to training and development. Flexible contractor and part-time roles are available depending on your skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

Hauling, termination, and testing of internal Cat6a cabling

Hauling, splicing, and OTDR testing of SM/MM fibre optic cables (internal & external)

Fault locating and troubleshooting of connectivity issues

Installation of catenary wires, conduits, cable trays, and telecom racks

Installation of WAPs, CCTV cameras, and related equipment

Rack and cabinet outfitting, including patch panels and active gear

Performing high-precision fibre work within data centre environments

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in telecommunications or electrical/data cabling (preferred, but not required)

A safety-first mindset and professional work ethic

Ability to work independently and within a team

Willingness to learn and take on diverse site work across Melbourne
