We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Project Manager who thrives on attention to detail, loves working with a passionate team, and can lead the end-to-end delivery of high-profile interior fit-outs and refurbishments.

You’ll manage projects from procurement through to handover, mentor your team, and represent Calida’s values—respect, reliability, fun, and excellence—on every site.

About the Role

This newly created role is a game-changer for our business. As Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll lead the front end of our most important projects — shaping construction methodologies, solving complex buildability challenges, and ensuring that every bid we submit reflects our capability, creativity, and commercial strength.

You’ll work closely with our estimators, project managers, and construction managers to bring structure and strategy to how we win work — and bring consistency to how we prepare for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage your delivery team including Site Foremen, Contract Administrators & Project Coordinators

Drive project delivery across time, cost, quality, and safety targets

Oversee project programming, constructability reviews and stakeholder meetings

Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships

Manage budgets, claims and reporting

Ensure site compliance with WHS and company policies

Promote team performance, mentoring and professional development

About You

Must-Haves:

7+ years' experience in construction project management (ideally hospitality/retail fit-outs)

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or related discipline

Strong knowledge of pre-construction, delivery and close-out practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project tools (Cubit/Vista experience a plus)

Current First Aid & White Card

Great communication, leadership and people management skills
