- Use hand/power tools (e.g., panel saw, drill press, staple gun, jointer, thicknesser) as required
- Complete scheduled workload within tight timeframes while maintaining quality
- Take ownership of the workspace — ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting better ways of working
Essential Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years’ experience operating CNC machines in a timber, joinery, or manufacturing setting
- Confidence reading technical drawings and measurements
- Hands-on experience with tools and machines in a workshop setting
- Good time management — able to plan your day and work to schedule
- Strong work ethic — reliable, safe, and focused on doing things properly
Preferred (but not essential) Experience & Skills
- Experience with CNC programming or troubleshooting (B.Solid, G-code, etc.) (highly regarded - but not essential)
- Forklift licence
- Familiarity with beam saws, thicknessers, or similar timber machinery
