Welder - Wellbore Intervention

Partner with the best

Under general supervision, you’ll performs welding applications within one or more teams. You’ll also performs visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications. Helps to facilitate the team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team. Responsible for supporting the team and team's objectives.

As the Welder - Wellbore Intervention, you will be responsible for:

Being competent to weld and performs welding according to the applicable welding procedure specification and/or drawing requirement. This includes familiarity on carbide brazing.

Being knowledgeable in welding processes particularly GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and Flux cored arc welding (FCAW) process.

Being capable at hand grinding and pre-heat on welds.

Conducting visual and in-process inspections in accordance with industry and Baker Hughes quality specifications

Being competent to use measuring instruments and ensure product meets drawing requirement prior to release from weld station.

Supporting shop activities and perform other tasks as assigned by Shop Supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have passed periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures and/or ASME IX

Have at least 3 – 5 years’ experience in welding - GMAW (Gas metal arc weld) and / or FCAW (Flux cored arc welding).

Basic Microsoft office and computer knowledge to perform daily routine task.

Have ability to learn SAP and perform system transaction.

Comply with company’s safety requirements including perform mask fit test, hearing test etc.
