About the role

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join the team at Springbrook Mountain Chalets' in Springbrook, QLD. This is a live in long term contract position (ABN required), and the successful candidate will provide daily housekeeping for 5 chalets between 10 am and 2 pm (as needed - if no cleans required then a free day with no loss of remuneration).

Accommodation is in the managers residence a 2 story chalet. The manager lives upstairs and the successful applicant would have a very large private bedroom and downstairs living area (shared kitchen only).

We will consider an experienced live-in caretaker/manager/housekeeper couple team who would be responsible for the day-to-day operations housekeeping and maintenance of our picturesque mountain resort in which case income will be $40,000 - $44,000.

What you'll be doing

Single applicant

Provide high standard housekeeping

2 person team applicant ONLY

Providing exceptional customer service to our guests

Housekeeping and maintaining the chalets, grounds, and facilities to a high standard

Overseeing the booking process and coordinating guest arrivals and departures

Performing minor maintenance and repairs as needed

Ensuring the resort is secure and well-presented at all times

Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and inventory management

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar caretaker, manager, and housekeeping role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry

Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Hands-on experience with maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A passion for the outdoors and a love of mountain living
