About the Role

We are seeking a casual deli assistant for our new Delicatessen in Penrith, NSW. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of the deli.

Key Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive in-store experience.

Preparing and serving a variety of fresh deli products, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches and packaging items for sale

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory and keeping display cases presentable and well stocked

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

Supporting the team in various operational tasks as required

Ideal Candidate

Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service role, preferably in a food retail or hospitality environment

A mature attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A passion for high-quality produce and great customer service

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg regularly

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Must have a permanent right to work in Australia
